Summary of Church-Related School

Heritage Christian Academy (HCA) began in 1997 as a Church-Related School (CRS), serving the academic and social needs of families educating their children. Registering in HCA’s CRS will assure that your family is complying with the state educational requirements.

HCA provides multiple services to families. HCA CRS provides the following services:
  • manages students’ educational records,
  • offers Stanford achievement testing,
  • provides an HCA diploma upon 12th grade graduation and a graduation ceremony and reception,
  • offers Stanford achievement testing,
  • supplies students’ driver’s license letter,
  • provides an optional co-op for grades K-6 and an optional tutorial for grades 7-12,
  • offers opportunities for school pictures to be taken and an HCA yearbook is available for purchase,
  • provides college transcripts and guidance counseling for graduating seniors,
  • allows for inclusion in the HCA SwapShoppe to sell, buy, or trade items, and
  • offers some social activities, such as the Ocoee White Water rafting trip, International fair etc. (additional social activities and educational opportunities are offered to students enrolling in the co-op and tutorial).
Registration
  • Pray about your decision to join HCA.
  • Complete the following forms: HCA application, request for records, and HCA fee schedule.
  • Mail the 3 above listed forms and enrollment fees to HCA, P.O. Box 1135, Mount Juliet, TN 37121. More information on registration fees can be found on page 3 of the HCA Handbook.
  • If you are registering with HCA during the school year, go to your child’s school to withdraw him or her.
  • Purchase the curriculum your child will be using.
  • Submit your child’s immunization form and copy of their birth certificate. If your child has been enrolled in a public or private school, these records will come from your previous school.
