Church Related School
Heritage Christian Academy (HCA) was started in 1997 by homeschool pioneer, Katrina Hagerty, and has been serving the academic and social needs of families educating their children since then. Registering in HCA’s Church Related School (CRS) will assure that your family is complying with the state educational requirements.

Registration in HCA's CRS is always open and can be completed online. Email in your paperwork and pay by Venmo for a completely digital registration process. You can begin homeschooling legally TODAY!
Tutorial
Our optional tutorial program is available to any students registered in HCA's CRS. This 30 week program meets in Hermitage, TN, on Wednesdays and serves students in grades 7-12. Qualified tutors are hired to facilitate our weekly classes. Throughout the week, parents are responsible for ensuring their children are completing their work while tutorial tutors assign the curriculum and assignments. Students may be enrolled in as many or as few classes as they would like.
CO-OP
Our optional co-op program is available to any students registered in HCA's CRS. The co-op serves students in grades K-6 and meets for 24 weeks per year. Co-op stands for "cooperative," which means that all the students' parents come together to share the teaching and volunteering responsibilities. Co-op classes focus primarily on history and science topics; these classes are hands-on and engaging. The classes provide a supplement to what the parents are teaching at home and are not designed to serve as the primary curriculum for the student.
Annex
Our optional annex program is available to any students registered in HCA's CRS. This 30-week program meets in Hermitage, TN, on Tuesdays and serves students in grades 3-6. Qualified tutors are hired to facilitate our weekly classes. Throughout the week, parents are responsible for ensuring their children are completing their work while tutorial tutors assign the curriculum and assignments. Students may be enrolled in as many or as few classes as they would like.
